William H. Rintelman, 67
William H. Rintelman of Cedarburg Wisconsin passed away March 5, 2024. He was born June 29, 1956 to William A. & Adeline (nee Wilhelme) Rintelman at St. Alphonsus hospital in Port Washington. He grew up on the family homestead and graduated from Cedarburg High School where he played football and threw shot put. After high school Will completed welding courses at Milwaukee Area Technical School. On July 22, 1978 he was united in marriage to Carmela Grimardi and that night they moved into the house they built next to the Rintelman farm. Spending time on the family property was Will’s passion, and his early farm experiences shaped him into a strong and hardworking individual. Will worked for Todd Equipment, which became Arbon, a division of Rite-Hite, for more than three decades. He served in many capacities and enjoyed great relationships throughout. Will was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cedarburg becoming an active member of First Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cedarburg after marriage. Will and Carmela were blessed with two children, Joseph and Angela.
William is survived by his wife of 45 years, Carmela, son Joseph (Jennifer Stevens) of Cedarburg and daughter Angela (Gregory) Kowalski of Brookfield. He is further survived by his mother-in-law Doris Tetzlaff of West Bend, sisters Betty Bublitz of Jackson and Janet Traxel of Grafton, sisters-in-law Barb Rintelman of Cedarburg, Kathy (Jerry) Chromy of Port Washington, Karen (Mike) Tonn of West Bend, Lisa Tangen of Port Washington, brother-in-law Ted (Sandy) Tetzlaff of Cedarburg, grandchildren Nora and Henry Rintelman and Luke and Benjamin Kowalski. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, father-in-law John Grimardi, step father-in-law Herman Tetzlaff, brother Donald Rintelman, sister Delores Papke, brothers-in-law John Bublitz, Roger Traxel and Charles Parker, and nephew Donald B. Rintelman.
The family wishes to thank the many medical professionals at Aurora Hospital in Grafton, and the staff at Horizon Hospice, Lumia Mequon, Oasis Senior Advisors and First Immanuel Lutheran Church who assisted Will in his final months.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at 6:00 PM, at First Immanuel Lutheran Church, W67N622 Evergreen Blvd., Cedarburg. A visitation will take place on Thursday, at the church from 4:00 PM to 5:45 PM. Following the service a celebration of life will take place.
