William E. "Swifty" Eckhart

William Edwin Eckhart "Swifty" Passed away at Horizon Lawlis Family Hospice, St. Mary's Ozaukee on May 27, 2015. Swifty was born in Milwaukee, on November 11, 1944, son of the late William and Ruth Eckhart. He is survived by wife Mary, daughter Salli (Paul Dousette), three sisters Kathie, Pat, Tina (Dan Bertram), and one brother John. Further survived by 10 nephews, 5 nieces, 11 great-nephews, 12 great-nieces, 2 great-great nephews, and an abundance of other family and friends. He was further blessed with three God children, Kristen Pagnac, Hannah Young, and Brad Langlois. Swifty’s family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the caring staff at Horizon Hospice St. Mary’s Ozaukee, Grafton Aurora Hospital and Cancer Center, Heritage Rehab in Port Washington, and the amazing Thiensville Rescue Squad for the rapid responses. We also thank the staff at Bluemound and Mill Street Davita for their excellent training and care during the 2+ years Swifty was on dialysis.
