Wendy Anne Von Ruden

Memorial services for Wendy Anne Von Ruden of Cedarburg, will be held on Friday, November 2, 2018 from 2-6 pm, at River's Edge Apts, 150 W. Main St, Waukesha. Wendy, age 63, passed away from natural causes on Thursday, October 25, 2018. In lieu of flowers, monetary donations to the family are appreciated. Wendy was born in Racine, WI on June 16, 1955, the daughter of Dean and the late Erika (nee Krimmer) Zimmerman. Family was most important to Wendy. From nightly phone calls with her Mom, weekly dinners with her Dad, and making her children their favorite meals, she showed her love through these kind gestures. Her grandchildren were her favorite, she had always said that being a Nana was the best feeling in the world. Wendy loved to color, and with a talent of using many color combinations, she made her pictures pop. Her favorite color was purple. She also loved crocheting, she gifted her warm blankets to everyone. Wendy is survived by her children; Bradley Von Ruden, Heather (Travis) Janick and Craig Von Ruden, grandchildren; Lanaya, Tyler, Ella, Dominic, Lacey, Mason and Zachary, father; Dean Zimmerman, siblings Scott (Diane), Brian (Jo Ann), Tod and Roger (Sue) Zimmerman. She is further survived by her former husband Joel Von Ruden, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Wendy is preceded in death by her mother, Erika Zimmerman.
