Walter L. Kornitz

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 22, 2013 at 5:00pm at Trinity Lutheran Church N60 W6047 Columbia Road, Cedarburg for Walter Kornitz of Grafton who died of natural causes at Cedar Springs Health and Rehab Center on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at the age of 90 years. In state at church on Friday from 3:30pm to 4:45pm . Memorials to Trinity Lutheran Church, Cedarburg appreciated. Walter was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on July 16, 1922, the son of the late Gustav and Ella (Nee Paetow) Kornitz. Walter was a graduate from North Division High School. He was united in marriage to Helen Etterman on July 22, 1944. Walter enjoyed playing golf and liked all sports but baseball was his favorite. Walter just loved eating McDonald hamburgers. Walter is survived by his wife of 69 years, Helen, niece; Sharon (David) Ziesemer, other relatives and friends. Memorials to Trinity Lutheran Church, Cedarburg appreciated.
