A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 9, 2011, at 11AM at Community United Methodist Church, Cedarburg, for Walter C. Wally Wisniewski, of Grafton, who passed away on Friday, July 1, 2011, at the age of 91 years. Visitation will be held at the church on from 10AM until time of service. Rev. David Blackmer will officiate the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials of your choice appreciated. Wally was born in Milwaukee on March 14, 1920, a son of Frank and Blanche (nee Wozniak) Wisniewski. He married Eilene Belcher, and they had three daughters. After Eilene died, he married Dorothy Zelle in Milwaukee on April 15, 1961. Wally was a passive volunteer fire fighter with the Cedarburg Fire Department. He enjoyed the outdoors, was an avid reader and could always be seen with a camera around his neck. Wally is survived by his wife of 50 years, Dorothy; daughters Donna Hoffmann of Sheboygan, JoAnne Hadler of Cedarburg and Eileen Wisniewski of St. Paul MN; grandchildren Kim (Chris) Chronister of Gainsville FL, Michael Hadler of Minneapolis MN, Brad (Debbie) Hoffmann of Cleveland, and Carrie (Jeff) Engebose of Rochester MN; great-grandchildren Katie Chronister, Jackie Chronister, Kelsey Engebose, Madison Engebose and Brady Engebose; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Eilene Belcher Wisniewski; brothers Ray Wisniewski and Chet Wisniewski; sister Sylvia (Rich) Krajewski; and father-in-law Fred Zelle.
