Funeral services for Veronica M. Dohrwardt (nee Otto) of West Bend, WI, who passed away at Cedar Lake Health & Rehabilitation Center on October 13, 2011 at the age of 97, will be held on Sunday, October 16, 2011 – 7:00 PM at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church 1268 Pleasant Valley Rd. Interment Church Cemetery. Instate at the church Sunday 4 PM until time of service. Memorials to Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church appreciated. Veronica was united in marriage to the late Alfred on June 10, 1934 at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church. Veronica enjoyed spending time canning, baking, playing rummy and bingo and most importantly spending time with her family. Veronica is survived by her sons: Franklin (Barbara) Dohrwardt and Willard Dohrwardt; son-in-laws Edward (Joan) Hetebrueg and August Fechter; grandchildren: Daniel Dohrwardt, Deborah (Russel) Short, David Dohrwardt, Douglas Dohrwardt, Eugene (Brenda) Hetebrueg, Ellen (Mark) Schaefer, Eric (Tracy) Hetebrueg, Dale Fechter, Sally (Kerry) Lewin, Brenda (Kevin) Kempf and Kenneth Fechter; great grandchildren: Tonya and Landon Ferrer, Kyle Short, Tyler Hetebrueg, Melissa and Mark Jr. Schaefer, Andrew and Kaitlyn Hetebrueg, Jacob and Jessica Lewin, Matthew and Mason Kempf. Further survived by 7 great great grandchildren, brother-in-law Junier Ehlke, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by daughters Elvira Hetebrueg and Sylvia Fechter; 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Memorials to Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church appreciated.
