Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, W61 N498 Washington Avenue, Cedarburg for Thomas “Tom” E. Carron who died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at the age of 85 years from natural causes. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 10:00am to 11:45am. Rev. Vicki Simon will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Immanuel Lutheran Church or to the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight Program appreciated. Tom’s family would like to send a special thank-you to the staff of Horizon Hospice for their tender and loving care. Thomas E. Carron “Tom” was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on August 20, 1933, the son of the late Nelson and Gertrude (nee Rennicke) Carron. He was a Cedarburg High School graduate. Tom was united in marriage to Virginia “Ginny” Sachse on December 27, 1958 at Grace Lutheran Church in Thiensville, Wisconsin. They were blessed with 3 boys. Tom was a dedicated employee as a repair man in Wisconsin for the Telephone Company and retired after 42 years of service. He was a proud veteran with the U.S. Navy and a very active member of the Peter Wollner American Legion Post 288 where he was a past commander. Tom and Ginny enjoyed their wintering in Florida and vacationing at Lake Namakagon which is near Cable, Wisconsin in the summer. Actually they loved to travel. He loved his fishing and golfing. They were involved in a card club playing sheepshead for many years. Tom was an avid Wisconsin Badger football fan and together they went to many Rose Bowls and visited Camp Randall for a lot of Badger football games. Tom is survived by his wife of 60 years, Virginia “Ginny”, sons, Perry and Jesse (Kristina) Carron, grandchildren, Jason Carron, Stefanie (Stacy) Kaye, Patricia Bryant, Bret Mattson and Jasmin (Nolan) Henke, great-grandchildren, Tyler, Amalie, Shiala, Jayden, Brooklynn, Riley and Alyssa, brother, Robert “Bob” Carron, brother-in-law, Paul (Mardi) Sachse and sister-in-law, Phyllis (Edgar) Armbruster , nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Nelson and Gertrude, son, Todd Thomas and brothers, Roger and Lee.
