Thomas R. Haugstad of Grafton formerly of Cedarburg passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday May 1, 2014 at the age of 80 years. Tom was born in Black River Falls, WI on June 3, 1933 to the late Theodore & Beulah (nee Torkelson) Haugstad and married Margaret Ann (nee Easter) on November 27, 1971 in Brown Deer, WI. Tom was a Mason and Shriner. He was a member of the Peter Wollner American Legion Post in Cedarburg for over fifty years. He retired from Harnischfeger Corporation after forty one years of employment. Tom and Ann spent their winters in Sun City West, AZ. He was also a long time active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Cedarburg. He is survived by his wife Ann of Grafton; daughter Allison (Nick) Anschutz of Wind Lake; grandchildren Evan, Alex & Ella; and one brother David (Minerva) Haugstad of Glen Ellyn, IL. He is further survived by brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday May 8, 6 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church N60 W6047 Columbia Rd. Cedarburg. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery in Black River Falls, WI on Friday May 9, 12 Noon. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 4 PM until time of service. In lieu of flowers memorials to Trinity Lutheran Church or Handicapables appreciated.
