Thomas Lee Hamilton

Thomas L. “Tom” Hamilton passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 14th 2023 at Lasata Care Center in Cedarburg. After 18 years, he has been reunited in heaven with his devoted wife of 45 years, Margaret P. Hamilton. Tom is survived by his brother, Jim (Susan Walsh Harrington); his 3 children, Keith, MaryKaren (Dave Matt), and Annmarie (John Nelson); 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He is further survived by Cosette Hamilton, Rene’ Gagner, Keith Oswald, Mel and Elaine Oswald, Roy Herman, and many other friends.

Some of Toms hobbies included jogging, golfing, fishing, puzzling, and taking long Sunday drives that always ended with wine and cheese. Tom was a man of faith; he and Marge were longtime parishioners of St. Francis Borgia in Cedarburg. They both spent countless hours volunteering within the community in many different ways. Tom will always be remembered for his genuine smile, gentle heart and dry, witty sense of humor. He was a friend to all who knew him, and his generosity and selflessness were second nature to him.

“Grampa” will be greatly missed by Michael Hamilton and Alyssa Bennett; “Pop-Pop” will be greatly missed by Brandon, Malayna, and Jaren Oswald. These 5 grandchildren were blessed to have such a great and loving man that played an important role in their upbringing.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 2, 2023 – 1:00 PM at St. Francis Borgia North Catholic Church 1375 Covered Bridge Rd. Cedarburg. Visitation will be at the church on Friday from 12:00 PM – 12:45 PM. Inurnment St. Francis Borgia Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Lasata Care Center are appreciated. The family of Tom will forever be grateful for the care and compassion given to him over the 8 years that he resided there.
