A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, June 2, 2013 at 6:00pm at Community United Methodist Church, W68N562 Evergreen Blvd., Cedarburg for Suzanne P. Neumann of Grafton, formerly of Cedarburg who died on May 26, 2013 at Columbia St. Mary’s Ozaukee Campus at the age of 77 years. Dr. Rev. David Blackmer will officiate. Family will greet friends and relatives following the Service. Private burial will be held on Saturday at Zur Ruhe Cemetery. Suzanne was born on October 11, 1935 in Evanston, Illinois, the daughter of the late Birger Hale and Elisabeth (nee Howard) Peterson. Suzanne was united in marriage to Donald O. Neumann on July 16, 1966 in Fox Point, Wisconsin. They were blessed with 2 children. Don preceded Suzanne in death on July 8, 2002. Suzanne was a member of Community United Methodist Church where she was actively involved in the Women’s Bible Study and was on the Befriender Ministry. She was also involved in the Women’s Club of Milwaukee, Red Hat Club, Girl Scouts and the Junior League-Cedarburg. She graduated from Grinell College in Iowa with a Bacholers Degree and was a Phy Ed teacher at Nicolet High School. Suzanne had a lot of hobbies like knitting, camping, gardening, cooking, baking and she loved to paint anything from canvas to wood to pottery. Suzanne is survived by her children; Elisabeth (Robert) Zebrowski and Richard (Katie) Neumann, grandchildren; Amanda, Joshua, Ashley and Jacob, great-grandchild; DJ, and brothers; William (Linda) Peterson and James (MaryAnn) Peterson. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. Cemetery: Private burial will be held Saturday In lieu of flowers, memorials to American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association or Community United Methodist Church appreciated.
