Suzanne M. Schmalz

A Memorial Service will be held, TODAY, May 13, 2008 2PM at Pilgrim United Church of Christ in Grafton, for Suzanne M. Schmalz, who was taken from us too quickly on May 10, 2008 at the age of 56 years.  The Rev. Franz Rigert will officiate the memorial service.  Memorials to the American Heart Association are appreciated.  For online condolences please go to www.muellerfuneralhome.com.   Suzanne was born on January 21, 1952 in Hancock, Michigan, daughter of the late John Sutinen and Beatrice (nee Kuru) Sutinen.    Suzanne was a compassionate grandmother who loved spending time with all of her grandchildren, and they truly loved her for that.  She will be greatly missed by not only her grandchildren, but by all who knew and loved her.   Suzanne is survived by her daughters: Stacy (Jose Bernie) Ortiz, Rhea (Dennis Turan) Schmalz, and Amber (Jermaine Williams) Schmalz, mother, Beatrice Sutinen, grandchildren: Jaelan Peanut Turan, Dominic Domi Turan, Alyssa Butterfly Ortiz, and Brianna Nani Williams, siblings: Peter (Mary) Sutinen, Kurt (Holly) Sutinen, and Greg (Julie) Sutinen, special companion, Joel Saad, and former husband, Bob Schmalz.  She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.  Suzanne was preceded in death by her father, John Jack Sutinen and granddaughter, Faith Schmalz Williams.
