Steven “Steve” Collamore Stewart, of Saukville, Wisconsin passed away on April 7th, 2022 at the Dekora Springs assisted living facility. He was 78. Steve always had a smile on his face. He lit up any room, and his kindness to all was unforgettable. Steve was born September 5, 1943, in Portland, Oregon, the fourth of six children born to Wesley “Wes” E Stewart and Margret “Meg” E. Collamore. He was raised in Salem, Oregon, where he graduated, receiving the award for most athletic, from South Salem High School. He then married Mary Stewart (nee Hubert) in September of 1964 in Salem, Oregon. They raised their two children in West Linn, Oregon where they owned their own real estate firm and a school teaching real estate applicants pre-license courses. Steve met Gillian Chamberlin (nee Sullivan) and they would get married on August 8, 1981 in Mequon, Wisconsin. They raised three children in Mequon where Steve owned his own Real Estate Company and enjoyed swimming, golfing, and playing tennis. He lived life to the fullest. In 2017 Steve moved to Dekora Springs where he made many friends and lived until his passing. He is survived by his children Brenda Stewart, Kristen Stewart, Ryan (Natalie) Stewart, Sullivan “Andrew” (Jade) Stewart, and Margaret “Meg” Stewart; sister Judith Reznicsek, brother Wesley “Wes” (Chatto) Stewart, John (Fran) Stewart, and Craig (Lisa) Stewart; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister Dorothy L. Anders in, September of 2017. There will be a private gathering of family and friends in Saukville, Wisconsin. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or to Parkside Community United Church of Christ, 166 W Dekora St, Saukville, WI 53080.
