Stella D. Kancius

Stella Kancius, recently of Cedarburg, WI, formerly of Bloomington, IL, was Born to Eternal Life on April 6, 2009. Stella was born on May 7, 1917, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late Charles and the late Mary Sarocka. She later married the late Peter J. Kancius on August 24, 1941, in Chicago. Peter preceded her in death on August 10, 1993. Stella is survived by her loving children, Larry (Karen) Kancius of Mequon, WI, Martin (Janet) Kancius of Bloomington, IL, and Mary Ellen (Wallace) Posey of Auburn, WA, grandchildren, Cherilyn (Wayne) Spath, Brian (Amy) Kancius, Jason Kancius, Julia Kancius, and Jama (Phillip) Roach, great-granddaughters, Hayley Kancius, Grace Spath; Alicea, Ashley and Olivia Roach. Devoted sister of the late Bruno (Louise) Sarocka and the late Albert (Ruth) Sarocka. Fond aunt of the late Kathy Sarocka and other nieces and nephews. A visitation will take place from 10:30AM until 12 Noon on Thursday, April 16, 2009 at St. Francis Borgia North Catholic Church (1375 Covered Bridge Rd.), Cedarburg, WI. A Memorial Mass will follow the visitation at the church, at 12 Noon. Inurnment will take place at St. Casimir Cemetery in Chicago.
