Stanley H. Pipkorn

Stanley H. Pipkorn of Mequon. Passed away peacefully on Saturday February 27, 2016 at his home in Mequon. Stanley was born in Mequon, WI on November 25, 1920 to the late Alvin & Olga (nee Tews) Pipkorn and married Carol (nee Hintz) on July 20, 1946 at Grace Lutheran Church in Thiensville. Stanley was the owner and operator of A.H. Pipkorn & Son Concrete Contractors which his father started in 1919 and Stanley worked up until 1995. He was a lifelong active member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Freistadt where he served the church on numerous boards, like the building committee, elders and school board. He was a 70 years charter member of the Howard J. Schroeder American Legion Post # 457 in Mequon. He also bowled in the Lutheran Bowling League at the Cedars for 50 years. He is survived by his wife Carol of Mequon, children; Stewart (Karen) Pipkorn of Germantown, Nancy Pipkorn of Cedarburg and Neil (Patricia) Pipkorn of Green Bay, grandchildren; Stacy (Steve) Wilke of Cedarburg, Jason (Joann) Pipkorn of Colgate, Derrick Pipkorn of Green Bay, Cody (Cassie) Pipkorn of Green Bay, Matthew Stein of Green Bay, Tricia (Randy) Willms of Green Bay, & Joanne Stein of Green Bay, great grandchildren; Madison & Taylor Wilke, Leland Pipkorn, Briella Pipkorn, Devon Pipkorn, Matthew Willms & Ethan Willms, sister; Marie Ann Kassens of Mequon. He was preceded in death by two sisters; Gladys Barthel and Jane Weber. He is further survived by other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday March 5, 12 Noon at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church 10729 W. Freistadt Rd. Mequon. Interment will be held at the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 10 – 11:45 AM. Memorials of your choice appreciated.
