Sophie Strassburger Nee Mueller

Sophie Strassburger (nee Mueller) of Grafton passed away on Monday, January 11, 2009, at Columbia St. Marys Hospital Ozaukee Campus at the age of 99 years. Sophie was born in Fresenthal, Russia on December 10, 1910, to John and Anna (nee Diener) Mueller, and came to American in 1911 with her parents. She was married to William Strassburger on May 9, 1936 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Grafton by Rev. John Schroeder. Sophie is survived by her grandson Kevin Timmerman of Grafton, great-grandson Brandon Timmerman of Grafton and sister Anna (the late Albert) Welter of Grafton. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. Sophie is preceded in death by her husband William and her daughter Sharon (Terry) Timmerman. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 15, 2010, at 2 PM at Mueller Funeral Home 979 N. Green Bay Rd. Grafton. Interment will be at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Grafton. Visitation will be on Friday at the funeral home from 1PM until the time of service. Memorials: Memorials of your choice appreciated.
