Shirley M. Prom

Shirley Mae Prom Born to eternal life on October 4, 2016 at the age of 87 at her home in Cedarburg, Wisconsin. A celebration of Shirley’s life will be held at St. Francis Borgia North on Tuesday, October 11th at 10:00am. A visitation will take place on Monday, October 10, 2016 from 5:00 – 7:00pm at Mueller Funeral Home in Cedarburg as well as a short visitation prior to the funeral service at St. Francis Borgia North on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 from 9:30 – 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Francis Borgia Parish are appreciated. Shirley was born in Port Washington, Wisconsin on August 15, 1929. Her parents Bill and Maryann Krupp as well as her one brother Lou lived in the small church community of Holy Cross. She attended Holy Cross Catholic Grade School and then graduated from Port Washington High School in 1947. She finished her education with an Associate Degree in hair styling from Milwaukee Beauty School. Shirley then married the love of her life, Arnold in 1951. Their marriage was blessed with four children – Bruce (Nancy), Brian (Georganne), Karen (John) Reddin and Kevin (Jenny). Shirley was content with the simple pleasures in life. She loved spending time with her friends, going to the casino, helping at church, watching or spending time with her 11 grandchildren and maintaining her property. She was eternally generous and was always willing to assist those in need. Shirley truly had a heart of gold. She will be greatly missed by her deeply saddened family, friends and church community.
