Sherry L. Gresch

Sherry L. Gresch (nee Olewinski) of Fredonia, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday September 26, 2017 at the age of 63 years. Sherry was born in Milwaukee, WI on May 26, 1954 to Lucile (nee McInroe) and the late William Olewinski. She married Alan Gresch on May 26, 1985. Sherry had a passion for nursing. She received her nursing degree from UWM and her masters in business from Cardinal Stritch University. She worked as an RN at St. Luke’s Hospital in Milwaukee and later she became head director of the ER department at Columbia St. Mary’s Ozaukee in Mequon. As Sherry had a deep passion for nursing, she also had a very deep passion for her grandchildren. Sherry is survived by her loving husband Alan of Fredonia, her children; Stephanie (Jim) Averill of West Bend, Jonathan (Amy) Garrett of Hartford, Alana (Dave) Wagner of Madison, Alissa Garrett of Kewauskum, Aaron Gresch of Cedarburg, & Amanda (Sean Huiras) Gresch of Allenton. Beloved daughter of Lucile (the late William) Olewinski. Dear grandmother of Jameson, Natalia, Elizabeth, Zachary, Bailey, Kira, Daniel, Baxton, Avery, & Seth. Dear sister of Dawn (Dave) Tippett & Tom (Sue) Olewinski. Dear daughter-in-law of Laverne (the late James) Gresch. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held on Sunday October 1, 3 PM at Faith Lutheran Church N35 W6621 Wilson Ave Cedarburg. Family will receive friends at the church on Sunday from 1 – 2:45 PM.
