Sheri Lynn Huebner

Mrs. Sheri Lynn Huebner of Cedarburg, passed away peacefully on the morning of Friday, April 13, 2018 at home. Sheri was 54 years old. Sheri was born in Milwaukee to Arthur Jordan, Sr. and Carol Jordan. Sheri married Michael Huebner at Advent Lutheran Church in Cedarburg, on April 1, 1989. Sheri was employed at Leeson Electric in Grafton, until she pursued her career in civil service, and joined the United States Postal Service in Cedarburg, where she delivered for 19 years. Sheri was well known in the Cedarburg community, and earned an award in 2016 at Summer Sounds for “Neighbor of the Night.” Sheri loved Summer Sounds on Friday nights, riding her Harley Davidson with her husband and friends, attending most all local events, especially the parades, and socializing at the County Fair. Sheri was an accomplished baker, and enjoyed sharing delicious desserts and recipes. Everyone always wondered what she would bring to get-togethers. Everyone who knew Sheri loved her. She made friends everywhere she went. She loved delivering mail and socializing with the people on her route. On Saturday nights you could find her and Mike having a beer with friends at the L&G Express. Sheri loved holidays. Christmas was her favorite. Through the years she collected and displayed the Dept. 56 “Christmas in the City” house collection. It was a delight for all to see. For all the happiness she had, nothing made her happier than being a grandma. She loved treating them and taking them on special adventures. She loved sending thoughtful notes and gifts to friends and family. Sheri always knew where to find the best gifts, especially the nostalgic toys and gadgets that the children in her life greatly enjoyed. Sheri was the most thoughtful person you could meet and always put herself second. Sheri will be greatly missed by husband and best friend; Michael Huebner, children; Eric (Kathleen) Jordan, Thomas (Elizabeth Jacobson) Huebner, grandchildren; Kert Jazztin, Olivia and Jordyn. Sheri is also survived by many loving brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, family and friends. Sheri was preceded in death by her parents; Arthur Sr. and Carol Jordan, and in-laws; Walter and Mary Huebner. To those who knew her best, Sheri will always “Shimmer and Shine.” A Memorial Service will be held at Mueller Funeral Home in Cedarburg on Saturday, April 28, 2018, at 5:30 PM. Public visitation will be at the funeral home, from 3:00 PM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are greatly appreciated.
