Sharon Zemlicka

Sharon Zemlicka, 64, of Grafton, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 27th, 2023.

Sharon was born on January 17th, 1959 to Roger and Diane Schelk of Sheboygan. After graduating from North High School in 1977, Sharon and Rick were married and moved to Colorado where they had their three children. She loved her children and supported them all her life.

Sharon loved a good dad joke, bonfires, the lake and fishing, the brewers, and bowling, but most of all, she loved the people she did those things with. Those who knew her know she was amazingly generous and would do almost anything to help her family and friends while asking for little in return. She spent most of her evenings with her children and grandchildren, and weekends with her husband.

Sharon's life would seem too short to many, but those of us who were blessed to know her understand that her existence left a lasting imprint on our hearts. She will be remembered for her kindness and generosity, contagious laugh, warm presence, and her ability to make everyone around her feel loved and welcomed unconditionally; she was a second mother to many. To say that her family and friends will miss her greatly is an understatement.

She is survived by her husband, Rick; children, Mike (Cyndi), Joe (Mindi), and Jennifer (Justin); and five grandchildren, Konner, Kali, Kierra, Lucas, and Olivia. She is further survived by her parents, Roger and Diane Schelk; sisters, Sue Spatt and Sandy Stiffler, and brother, Steve Schelk; as well as brothers-in-law, Randy and Brian Zemlicka, many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 9, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Zaun Pavilion at Lime Kiln Park, 2020 S. Green Bay Rd., Grafton.
