Scott A. Borgardt, of Cedarburg, was born to eternal life on Monday, June 11, 2018, at the age of 60 years. Scott passed away at the Select Specialty Hospital, in Milwaukee, surrounded by his loving family. Scott was born on March 17, 1958, in Racine, the son of the late Godfrey Borgardt Jr. and the late Carol Jean (nee Sawinski) Borgardt. He attended St. John’s Lutheran Grade School and later graduated from Racine Lutheran High School, with the class of 1976. Scott was united in marriage with Pamela Raboldt, on May 22, 1982, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, in Racine. Their marriage was blessed with three children; Amanda, Zachary, and Jacob. Scott was employed with Sysco Foods working as the Director of Produce for over 17 years. He then continued his position at U.S. Foods for nearly 10 years, and finished his career with Greco & Sons, in Oak Creek. When Scott was not working his countless hours with his storied career, he enjoyed golfing with his family. Scott also enjoyed hunting with his brothers and nephews, attending various Oktoberfest celebrations, and cooking great food for the people he loved so dearly. Scott was an active member at First Immanuel Lutheran Church, in Cedarburg, where his children received their Christian education, which was so important to him. Scott had a zest for life and will forever be remembered as a person who just loved people. Scott is survived by his beloved wife, Pamela (nee Raboldt) Borgardt, children: Amanda (Jay) Matthes, Zachary Borgardt, and Jacob Borgardt; mother-in-law, Dale Ruth Raboldt, brothers: Craig (Jill) Borgardt, Randall (Louise) Borgardt, and Joel (Rosie) Borgardt; and sisters-in-law, Loralyn (Todd) Schalinske and Carolyn Raboldt. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, father-in-law, Henry Raboldt, nephew, John Borgardt, and Amanda’s father-in-law, Fred Matthes. A Funeral Service will take place on Friday, June 15, 2018, 6PM at First Immanuel Lutheran Church (W67 N622 Evergreen Blvd.), Cedarburg. Visitation on Friday, at the church, from 3PM until 5:45PM. Memorials to the First Immanuel Lutheran Building Fund or to the family are appreciated. A Benefit will also be held on Sunday, July 22, 2018, at the Eagle Park Brewing Company, in Milwaukee from 3-7PM to celebrate Scott’s life and raise funds to offset the many costs that were incurred from Scott’s lengthy hospital stays.
