Ruth Marie Baggs

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday September 1, 2010 at 6:00pm at St. Francis Borgia North Catholic Church (1375 Covered Bridge Road, Cedarburg) for Ruth Marie Baggs (nee Rauh) who died Sunday August 29, 2010 at the age of 76 years at Horizon Hospice of Columbia St. Marys Ozaukee Campus. Visitation will be held at church Wednesday from 3pm until the time of Mass. Interment at Zur Ruhe Cemetery. Ruth was born in Milwaukee, WI., June 29, 1934, the daughter of the late Edwin and Marie (nee Neudeck) Rauh. There are many things that Ruth enjoyed doing but probably none more than cooking and baking for others. She loved food, food was her passion. She cooked and baked for the Parish festivals and bake sales. Ruth loved flowers and had beautiful flower gardens. She also tended to her vegetable garden especially her tomatoes and cucumbers. Ruth enjoyed her slot machines especially in Las Vegas! Ruths sense of humor will never be forgotten. The love of her children is immeasurable along with the special place she had in her heart for all children. Ruth is survived by her daughters; Susan M. Jarvela, Deborah A. Brown and Julie Baggs, grandchildren; Jason Brown, David and Valerie Jarvela, great-grandson; Dylan Robinson, former spouse and good friend Robert K. Baggs, other relatives and friends. She is also preceded in death by many aunts and uncles. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, Veterans Memorial Fund or Horizon Hospiceof Columbia St. Marys Ozaukee Campus.
