Ruth M. Wegmann

(nee Wilde) Of Grafton, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2024, at the age of 94 years.

Ruth was born on January 19, 1930, to the late Rudolph and the late Irene (nee Masch) Wilde. She met the love of her life Gustav E.E. Wegmann, and they got married on September 2, 1950. Together they were blessed with 9 children.

Ruth was an avid reader and loved to knit, crochet, and do puzzles.

Ruth is survived by her children: James, Christine Barringer, Paul (Vicky), Jon, Kim, Nancy Frushour, Jeffrey, Peter; grandchildren: Erik (Mary Claire) Luckjohn, Kenneth (Melissa) Luckjohn, Heather (Mike) Rahlf, Timothy (Danielle) Barringer, Jenny (Dan) Thompson, Chuck (Taylor) Beam, Paul Jr. (Alyssa), Christian, Wendy Frushour, Samantha Frushour; 20 great-grandchildren, sister, Janet (Norm) Petersen and son-in-law, Larry Luckjohn. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Ruth is preceded in death by her husband, Gustav, parents, Rudolph and Irene Wilde, daughter, Linda Luckjohn, siblings: Edgar (Nona) Wilde, Hank (Edna) Wilde, Edna (Ivan) Schwanebeck, Dorothy (Ralph) Lindhorst and Kenneth Wilde; son-in-law, Kirby Frushour, brothers-in-law, Edgar (Bruenhilde) and Raymond, and sister-in-law, Hildegard.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Mueller Funeral Home & Crematory, 979 N Green Bay Rd., Grafton. Interment immediately following the service at Zur Ruhe Cemetery, Cedarburg. A visitation will take place, on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at the funeral home, from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
