RuthEvelyn Otto (nee Carney) Ruth Otto, 83, died November 19, 2009 at LaSata Care Center in Cedarburg,after suffering from Dementia for many years. She was born January 11, 1926 in the town of Hackett, the daughter of George and Anna (Murtaugh) Carney. She attended Enterprise Grade School, and graduated from Phillips High School,1944. Soon there after, she moved with her family to Milwaukee. Ruth worked for many years as a switchboard operator for Greyhound Bus Company in Chicago, IL. After returning to Milwaukee she was the receptionist at Galland, Henning, Nopak in West Milwaukee. She is survived by a son Ron (Rebecca)Otto of Decatur, IL, daughter Rita (Larry) Luhtala of Springfield, IL. Eight nieces and nephews, Julie (Paul)Troiber, Tomahawk WI, Cathleen (Tom) Wagner, Cedarburg WI, James Carney, North Freedom WI, Margaret (John) Crahen, Baraboo,WI Craig (Kathy) Carney, Cushing, MN Steve (Diane)Bakazan, Milwaukee WI ,Louise Schaefer and Michael Barrett, Waterford, WI and Carl(Carolyn) Tank, Los Angeles CA She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Warren Gene Otto, brothers, Victor, John, and Kenneth Carney, and sisters, Bertha (Nicholas) Bakazan, and Dorothy Jane (Fred) Tank.
