Ruth “Cookie” F. Czerwinski passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family Saturday January 21, 2017 at the age of 86 years. Ruth was born in Milwaukee, WI to the late Raoul & Francis (nee Kowleski) Czerwinski and was married to the late Henry “Hank” Czerwinski. Ruth retired from Tecumseh Products in Grafton where she was an office supervisor for many years. She was an active member of the Rose Harms American Ladies Auxiliary in Grafton; she loved to knit, play cards, cook, entertain, sew, luncheons and most of all spending time with her family. She is survived by her children; Mark (Anita) of Mequon, Claudia (Steve) Frank of Grafton, Paul (Pamela) of Plymouth, Mary Ann of West Bend (special friend TJ Kacmarick of Mellon, WI), John (Colleen) of Elkhorn, & Daniel (Michelle) of West Bend, grandchildren; Naomi (fiancée Phil Norby), Rebecca, Nicholas, Benjamin, Elliot, Garret, Eleanor, Jack, Rachel, Nathan (Kimberly) & Shane, great grandchildren Henry, Hayden, & Liam, sister; Carla “Bootsie” Cowie. Preceded in death by her son Tony & brother Raoul “Rocky”. She is further survived by her adopted daughter Mary Mueller, chosen daughter Amy Golwitzer, special friends Paul & Sue Turowski, the late Richard Kelley& family, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday January 25, 1 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church 1619 Washington St. Grafton. Visitation will be at the church on Wednesday from 10 AM until 12:45 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials to Camp Hometown Heroes appreciated.
