Russell D. Marciniak, Sr.

Russell D. Marciniak Sr., 77, of Saukville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 13th 2018 at Lawlis Family Hospice in Mequon. He was born May 9th 1940 in West Allis WI to Grace and Frank C. Marciniak. On March 31, 1983, he married Linda Bartelt (nee Kultgen) in Las Vegas Nevada. Mr. Marciniak worked as a purchasing manager at Modern Equipment Co. retiring in 2001, only to continue working as a consultant for Northwoods Mfg in Kingsford MI, until 2006. He enjoyed fishing on Sand Lake in Waupaca, gambling, and playing cribbage with his friends. He was also an avid baseball, football, and NASCAR fan, attending games and races across the country. He is survived by his wife, Linda, son Russ Marciniak Jr of Indiana, stepson, Rick Bartelt (Kelly Meerdink) and her children Taylor, Andrew, and Ashton of Thiensville, and grandson, Zachary Klug of Thiensville, Sister, Dorothy (Harry) Jedlicka of Milwaukee, and brother Jerry (Rosemary) of Belgium. And is further survived by brothers–in–law, Robert (Cherie) of Merrill, and Larry (Barb) of Cedar Grove, and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Marciniak was preceded in death by his parents, parents–in-law Edward and Amanda, sister Winnifred, brothers, Leonard, Richard, and Robert Marciniak, and half-brothers, Spencer and Edward Bichel. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank the wonderful nurses and staff at Lawlis Family Hospice for all their help and care. Memorials to the Washington Co. Humane Society are suggested.
