Ruby P. Boehnlein of Grafton, went home to heaven on March 27, 2016 at the age of 90. Ruby was born in Chilton, WI on June 28, 1925 the daughter of the late Hubert and Selena (Nee Schneider) Schmidlkofer. On October 12, 1946 Ruby was united in marriage to James Boehnlein in Chilton, WI. Ruby was an active member of St. Joseph’s Parish in Grafton and was a former president of the Ladies Auxiliary, Bellpost 427 of Milwaukee. Ruby loved to socialize with family and friends. She enjoyed going out for dinner, playing cards, bowling in her younger years, traveling – especially to Door County and was an avid Milwaukee Braves and Milwaukee Brewers Fan. Most importantly she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Ruby is survived by her husband James; children: Gail (James) Eichenseer, Daniel (Mary) Boehnlein and Lynn (William) Blaser; grandchildren: Tracy Eichenseer, Benjamin Boehnlein and Nicholas Boehnlein; brother Merle (the late Phyllis) Schmidlkofer. She is further survived by other relatives and many friends. A memorial mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church on Thursday, March 31, 2016 – 12 Noon with Fr. Michael Barrett officiating. Family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 11:00 AM – 11:45 AM. Inurnment will be at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church at later date. Memorials to the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight or your choice appreciated
