Rose Mary Kachel

Rose Mary Kachel, of Cedarburg, passed away at Kathy’s Hospice, in West Bend, on Saturday, December 10, 2016, at the age of 89 years. Rose Mary was born on November 11, 1927, the daughter of the late Paul Power and the late Mary (nee Solfkoski) Power. She was united in marriage to Chester Kachel and their marriage was blessed two children, Charles and Mary. Later in life, Rose Mary was a longtime volunteer at Lasata Care Center, in Cedarburg. Rose Mary is survived by her children, Charles Kachel and Mary Swan, grandchildren, Breanne (Steven) West and Yvette (Kristopher) Fitch, and great-grandchild, Emery West. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. Rose Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Chester Kachel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2016, 11AM at St. Francis Borgia North Catholic Church (1375 Covered Bridge Rd.), Cedarburg. The visitation will take place at the church, on Saturday, from 9:30AM until 10:45AM. She will be laid to rest at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Cemetery, in Mequon.
