Rose “Jo” Gentz of Grafton went home to heaven on May 22, 2015 at the age of 95 years. Rose was born in Grafton, WI on May 19, 1920, the daughter of the late George and Ella (Nee Fischer) Habich. Rose was united in marriage on June 19, 1943 to the love of her life, Harold “Bud” Gentz at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cedarburg. Rose was a long time member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and the Rose Harms American Legion Auxiliary Post 355, Grafton. Rose enjoyed bowling baking, bird watching, puzzles and most all spending time with her family and friends. She also loved playing cards with her twin sister, especially double solitare. Rose is survived by her son, Kim Gentz, the late Diane (Michael) Cefalu, grandchildren; Carrie Nicholsen, Stephanie Gentz, Nicholas Hammetter, P.J. and Alex Gantner, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Harold "Bud" Gentz, siblings, Elinore (Al) Nelson, Harold “Poly” (Bernice) Habich, George “Babe” (Lucille) Habich and her twin sister Lillian (Ray) Schreiner. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at 12:00 (Noon) at Immanuel Lutheran Church, W61 N489 Washington Avenue, Cedarburg. Interment will be at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Cedarburg. Visitation will be at the church on Tuesday from 11:00 until the time of Rose Harms American Legion Auxiliary Post 355 walk through at 11:45am. Memorials to Immanuel Lutheran Church or Rose Harms American Legion Auxiliary Post 355, Grafton appreciated.
