Roman J. Holz, age 86, passed away March 3, 2007, at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, WI. Interment May 5, 2007, at 11AM at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Cemetery, Mequon, followed by Military honors under the auspices of the American Legion Post #288 of Cedarburg. Online condolences may be sent by visiting www.muellerfuneralhome.com Roman was a veteran of WWII serving most of his time as an ambulance driver at the Army hospital in Seattle, Washington. After military service, he spent many years working the family farm in Cedarburg. He retired in northern Wisconsin near Marshfield where he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed repairing cars, farm machinery and tractors. In 2003, he entered the Wisconsin Veterans Home where he lived until his death. Roman is survived by brothers: Herbert Clarice of Mesa, AZ and Albert Betty of Graham, WA; sisters: Helen Drzewiecki of Cedarburg, Eleanor Donald Ansay of Belgium, and Florence Earl Putzbach of Cedarburg; sister-in-law Arlene Holz of Milwaukee. Further survived by nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, brother Erwin, brother-in-law Robert Drzewiecki, and nephew Russell Ansay.
