Wessinger, Robert P. BOB Passed away peacefully at the age of 88, Sunday, November 9, 2008 surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of the late Lucille (Nee Faber). Loving father of Jerri (Thomas) Proft and Bonnie (William) Pater. Proud Grandpa of Jill (Sean) Downey, Tracy (Michael) Flairty, Shelley (Michael) Laitinen and Amy (fianc Dan Schmit) Pater. Dear Great Grandpa of Allie, Kaelyn, Taylor, Haylee Flairty and Brett Downey. Brother of the late Peter (Late Virginia), Clarence (Late Pat) and Carol (Keith) Hernke. Brother-in-law of Dean (Judy) Faber. Further survived by nieces, nephews and friends. Bob was a proud veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Navy. He was a retiree of the Square D Company. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Dr. G. Michael Mosley, Jane Disler and the staff at Cedar Community Home Hospice for their care and compassion shown to Bob and his family. A celebration of Bobs life will be held Thursday, November 13 at the funeral home from 5 7 PM. Private interment.
