Robert J. Wamser

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2008 1 PM at St. Francis Borgia SOUTH Catholic Church in Cedarburg for Robert J. Wamser who entered into eternal life on March 3, 2008 at the age of 74 years. Family will receive friends on Saturday at the South church from 11AM 1PM. Entombment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery in Mequon. Father Mike Lightner will officate the memorial mass. Bob was born in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, on November 14, 1933 to the late Edwin and the late Henrietta (nee Schmidt) Wamser. He graduated from Marquette University with a degree in Electrical Engineering and went of to work for Wisconsin Electric for over 42 years. He married the late Kathleen "Kay" Poole on May 19, 1956 at St. Clements Church in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Their marriage was blessed with five children. Bob was also a huge animal lover and had many grand-pets. He enjoyed camping, hiking and spending time outdoors, but his true love was spending time with his many pets and especially his loving family. Bob is survived by his five children: Judy (Tom) Swetlick of Saukville, Debbie (Gene) Bradley of Saukville, Mary Jo (Kevin) Bowman of Columbus, Ohio, Mike (Special friend Karen) Wamser of Cedarburg and Jim (Debbie) Wamser of Fond du Lac, grandchildren: Brian, Cathy, Megan, Melissa, Ryan, Alex, Conner, Aaron, Billy and Megan, and many other relatives and friends. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, and his beloved wife of 51 years Kay Wamser. Memorials: Memorials to the family to be used for a dedicated nature memorial in memory of Bob and Kay.
