Robert “Bob” E. Koopmann,

Peacefully passed away surrounded by loving family on March 17, 2024, at the age of 77. He was born on September 18, 1946 to his late parents Harold Koopmann and Evelyn (nee Bade). He was united in marriage with Eileen (nee Hilgendorf). Together, their marriage was blessed with one daughter, Sarah.

Bob graduated from Plymouth High School and after continued his studies at Concordia River Forest where he earned a bachelor's degree in education. Because of Bob’s work ethic, he was a teacher, a coach, and had a career in inside sales. Bob had many hobbies, but you could always find Bob watching his beloved sports teams play. He loved the Packers and the Brewers. For 25 years, Bob and his dear friends would get season tickets to watch the Brewers. He loved to travel, every year Bob and Eileen would escape the cold winters to their second home in Florida, along with many other states and countries. In addition to traveling, he found a deep passion to bird watching.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Eileen, and his daughter, Sarah. He is further survived by two sisters, Carol (Terry) Powers and Gail (Roman) Williams, along with many nieces, nephews, friends, and family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Evelyn.

There will be a Memorial Service held for Bob at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Grafton on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 12:00 PM. A visitation will be from 10:30 AM to 11:45 AM prior to the service at church. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Every Generation Thankful Together Ministry Expansion Fund.
