Rev. Stanley R. Weinrich

**Stanley Robert Weinrich**

Stanley Robert Weinrich, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and devoted servant of the Lord, was called home to Heaven on May 14th, 2024, at the age of 71. Born on March 6th, 1953 to Robert and Bernice Weinrich, in Norfolk, Nebraska, Stanley's life was marked by his unwavering faith, love for his family, and dedication to his pastoral calling.

Stanley grew up in Pierce, Nebraska. He attended elementary school at Immanuel Lutheran School in Hadar, Nebraska. He attended Martin Luther Academy in New Ulm, Minnesota before pursuing his undergraduate education at Northwestern College in Watertown, WI, where he graduated in 1975. He continued his theological studies at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary, earning his Master of Divinity in 1979. This set the foundation for his lifelong calling as a pastor within the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod.

On June 5th, 1976, Stanley married Mary (Bubernak) Weinrich. Mary stood by Stanley's side throughout his life, sharing in his ministry and supporting him through his health challenges. Their enduring partnership was a testament to their deep love and commitment.

Throughout his 38 years of pastoral ministry, Stanley served congregations in Davenport, Iowa; Scottsbluff, Nebraska; and Trinity South (now part of Christ Alone) in Mequon, WI. His commitment to his faith and his congregants was evident in every sermon, prayer, and act of service. Stanley's deep devotion to the church and his community left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

Stanley was also an avid hunter, finding peace and joy in the great outdoors. His involvement with Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School showcased his passion for supporting Christian education.

Stanley's legacy is deeply felt by his surviving family: his mother Bernice Weinrich; his brother Steven (Kathleen) Weinrich; his loving wife Mary; his children Jeremy (Kelly) Weinrich, Jason (Elizabeth) Weinrich, and Becky (Brandon) Bodart; and his cherished grandchildren Elijah, Hudson, Sloane, and Liv, along with a large number of nieces and nephews. He leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and service, remembered fondly by those whose lives he touched. Stanley was preceded in death by his father Robert Weinrich.

A funeral service to honor Stanley's life will be held at Christ Alone, South Campus, Mequon, WI, on May 26th, 2024, at 4:00 PM.  The family will receive friends and relatives on Sunday, at the church, from 2:00 PM until the time of service.  In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Stanley's memory to Mount Olive Lutheran Church in Iron Mountain, MI; Christ Alone in Thiensville, WI; or Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School in Jackson, WI.
