Regina Schnur of Grafton, passed away peacefully at the Sharon Richardson Hospice, in Sheboygan Falls, at the age of 85 years. Regina was born in Waldenhofen, Germany, on November 15, 1936, the daughter of the late Egid Mayer and the late Margaret (nee Pauls) Mayer. She spent her early years attending school in Germany, and after graduation from high school, Regina relocated to the United States. Regina worked at the Est Co. for many years, and instilled her hard working values onto her four children. She enjoyed gardening in her yard, country-dancing in her earlier years, but her true love was watching football. Regina bled green and gold. Her beloved Packers were one of her main talking points when speaking with her family and friends. Regina is survived by her children: Mikki (Larry) Scott, Cathy (Jerry) Plyer, and DeWayne Schnur; grandchildren, Tiffany, Derrick, Jesse, Jenna, and Brittney, and siblings: Maria (Hans) Mittermeier and Gretl Frauennecht. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Regina was preceded in death by her beloved son, Frank Schnur and brother, Josef Mayer. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, March 11, 2022, 12:00 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, in Grafton. The family will receive friends and relatives on Friday, at the church, from 10:00 AM until 11:45 AM. Interment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery, in Grafton. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society are appreciated.
