Ralph G. Landgraf, of Grafton, went to his heavenly home, on January 30, 2015, at the age of 82 years. Ralph was born in Milwaukee, WI, on October 26, 1932, the son of the late Adolf and the late Agnes (nee Schroeter) Landgraf. At the age of six years, Ralph came out to Grafton, and lived with his Grandfather and Aunt Clara Schroeter, on his Grandfather’s farm. He attended grade school at St. Paul Lutheran School, in Grafton, as well as First Immanuel Lutheran School, in Cedarburg. He was confirmed in his faith, at First Immanuel Lutheran Church, by Rev. Henry Bleeke, in 1946. He went on to receive his high school diploma, in 1950, from Milwaukee Lutheran High School. Shortly after his graduation, Ralph began operating his grandfather’s farm after his grandfather’s passing that year. Ralph was united in marriage to Janet Emanuel, on June 26, 1960, and their marriage was blessed with three sons, Martin, Paul, and Daniel. Ralph retired, in 1993, from his position as inspector, at Russel T. Gilman, in Grafton, after working there for 20 years. Ralph and Janet enjoyed a trip with their sons and families, to Cancun, Mexico, to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary, in 2010. Ralph is survived by his beloved wife, Janet Landgraf, sons, Martin (Diana) Landgraf of San Antonio, TX, Rev. Paul (Janet) Landgraf of Eureka, MO, and Daniel (Amy) Landgraf of Morrison, CO. He is also survived by three grandsons, Joshua, Samuel, and Jacob, and three granddaughters, Sarah, Rachel, and Zoe, one sister, Alice Bublitz of Greenfield, WI, brothers-in-law, David (Jesse) of Grass Valley, CA, Edward (Linda) of Paris, TX, and sister-in-law, Doris Peters of Kimberly, WI. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Ralph was preceded in death by two sisters, Bernice Buenger and Florence Fielding, and two brothers, Clarence and Carl Landgraf. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2015, 1PM at St. Paul Lutheran Church, in Grafton. Ralph will be in state, on Thursday, at the church, from 11AM until the time of service. Interment will take place following the Funeral Service, at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery. The Rev. Scott Kruse will conduct the services. Memorials in Ralph’s name can be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, of Grafton, or to the Alzheimer’s Asscociation. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Lighthouse of West Bend and Betty’s Harbor, in West Bend for their care of Ralph during his last two years there.
