Peter J. Dane

Peter J. Dane -MEQUON-longtime resident of Shorewood,WI, originally from Norwalk, CT, passed away peacefully February 4, 2022, at the age of 76 years. Beloved husband and best friend of the late Patricia (nee Catalane) Dane. Loving and father of Kristen (Mark) Gwidt, Peter J. Dane Jr., and Kevin Dane. Proud “Pop-Pop” of Preston and Greta Dane; Catherine, Brigid, and Charlie Gwidt. Dear brother-in-law of Catherine Catalane (Chris) Bury and William Farrell. Adored uncle of John (Molly) Farrell, Shannon Farrell, Jack and Charlie Bury. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, William and Johanna Dane, brother, William A. Dane, sisters-in-law: Anne Catalane, Carole Catalane Farrell, Mary Grace Catalane (Mark) Patton, and Nancy Catalane; and nephew, Patrizio Maffei. Per Peter’s request, no formal services will be held, instead, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at a venue which will include water and lots of lobster! In lieu of flowers, please pay it forward with a random act of kindness in Peter’s honor.
