Pearl C. Wiechman

Pearl C. Wiechman, 91 formerly from Cedarburg passed away on January 15, 2008 at Bethel Home of Oshkosh. Funeral services will be held on Sat Jan 19 at Faith Lutheran Church, Cedarburg at 11 AM. Visitation will be from 9 AM until the time of services. Burial will be at Zur Ruhe Cemetery of Cedarburg. The Mueller Funeral Home, Cedarburg, is assisting with arrangements. Pearl Wiechman was born in the town of Jackson on July 11, 1916, the daughter of Theodore and Augusta Geiger. She married Carl Wiechman on August 28, 1937 at St Johns Lutheran Church in Jackson. He preceded her in death on July 12, 1993. Pearl and Carl owned and operated a mink ranch near Oshkosh for 27 years. After retirement they moved to Cedarburg and were able to enjoy winters in Florida. They were members of Faith Lutheran Church in Cedarburg where Pearl helped circle members sew quilts. She also enjoyed playing card, and traveling. Pearl will be missed by her children, Ann (Dennis) Wendt of Oshkosh and Kenneth (Karen) Wiechman of Franklin, Tennessee, her grandchildren Cheryl Wendt of Milwaukee, Major Kurt (Kristina) Wendt of Lynn Haven, Florida her step grandchildren, Blair (Cody) Gautsche and Scott Clements of Tennessee, her great grandsons, Richard, Robert and Ryan Wendt of Florida and her step great granddaughters Ella and Eva Gautsche of Tennessee; a brother, Willard (Ramona) Geiger, of Jackson and sister-in-law Lorraine Wiechman of Cedarburg. She was precedded in death by her brother Roland and his wife Mern Geiger, brothers and sisters-in-laws Raymond and Evelyn, Robert and Lucille, and Herman Wiechman. The family wants to especially thank the Special Care Unit at Bethel Home for their compassion and caring. Thank you for the wonderful care you gave Mom over these past years.
