Patrick B. Worth

Patrick Bernard Worth, 77, of Cedarburg, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, April 30, 2017. He fought a hard battle against Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. He was born to the late Bernard and Ruth (Davis) Worth on June 19, 1939. He served in the United States Navy for two years while stationed in Hawaii. Following his military service he attended Northern Michigan University. He then went on to have a successful career in sales and marketing. Patrick married the love of his life the late Kathleen (McConnell) Worth on June 24, 1967. They spent 42 wonderful years together. Later in life he was blessed to find a new love in his life, Emily. They were united in marriage on July 30, 2011 and were able to spend 6 wonderful years together. Patrick leaves behind his wife Emily, his four children and nine grandchildren: Mike (Sara) Olivia, Connor and Maysen Worth, Amy (Jason) Bryce and Austin Henderson, Dan Worth and Bradley (Kristi) Aidan, Samantha, Brady and Dillon Worth. Emily’s children and grandchildren: Geoffrey (Michelle) Samantha and Michael Plumridge and Kimberly (John) Victoria, Patrick, Thomas, Collin and Ryan Wise. His sister-in-law Sharon Mayenschein, brothers-in-law Terrence (Linda) McConnell and Patrick (Sherry) McConnell, brothers-in-law John (Ann) Tuller and Jim (Lisa) Tuller and sister- in-law Barbara (George) Cameron. Patrick was preceded in death by his parents Bernard and Ruth, his sister and brother-in-law Mary Jo and Vincent Lindberg and his wife Kathleen Worth. Patrick was an active member of St. Francis Borgia Parish where he served as both a lay minister and lector. He had a great sense of humor that remained strong until the very end. He was a phenomenal husband and a great dad. He will forever live on in our hearts. A special thank you to Dr. Loreman, Jeanette, Lila and Lorinda for their compassion and wonderful care that they extended during the final days of Patrick’s life. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 12, 2017 at St. Francis Borgia North Church. The visitation will be from 2:00-4:00pm with a Mass of Christian Burial held immediately following. A private burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made out to St. Francis Borgia School cafeteria fund.
