Patricia A. Pingel

Age 84, passed away peacefully at Cornerstone Assisted Living in West Bend, WI on Wednesday, June 12, 2024. Pat was born in Montreal, Wi on October 10,1939 to the late Marion “Scotty” and Evelyn Darin. She was preceded in death by her sons, Daniel J. and Jeffrey J. Pingel, her husband, Roy K. Pingel and her brother Tony Darin.

Pat attended Montreal Grade School and later graduated from J.E. Murphy High School in 1957. After this she started her career in banking at Hurley State Bank in Hurley, WI. In 1959 she married Roy, then they moved to Milwaukee where they worked and saved money to build their home Cedarburg. She continued her banking career until she retired in 2004.

Pat’s hobbies were sewing and knitting beautiful clothing for her family. In her younger years she enjoyed bowling and camping. Later on she would spend time reading novels, photography, gardening, bird watching and going on long walks.

Her passions included raising her children with tenderness and love and spreading that love to her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Deborah K Pingel (Gerald Spease) of Mayville, grandchildren, Ryan J. (Megan) Koonce, Mary E. Spease and Kyle R. (Allison) Spease, great-grandchildren include; Teagan, Leila, Charlie, Journey, Clark, Meredith and Walker. She is further survived by her brothers, Mario (Gloria) Darin and Lou (Sue) Darin along with her sister-in-law Connie (Larry) Anderson, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday June 25, 2024 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 10729 W. Freistadt Road with a committal service to follow. A luncheon will be served in the gathering room to visit with family and friends.
