Patricia Gehl Bradburn, 88, of Cedarburg entered into Eternal Life with Our Lord on January 12, 2011 surrounded by her loving husband, Charles T. Bradburn and her children. Pat was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Priscilla Gehl Steinle, and brother-in-law, James A. Bradburn, plus many life-long dear friends. Pat will be deeply missed by her husband of 65 years, Charles T. Bradburn and her children Mary Pat Burkel, Ellen (John) Frisch, Charles L. (Patricia) Bradburn, Mark (Kim) Bradburn, Ann (John) Bradburn-Oates. "Grammy" was very proud of her 11 grandchildren: John (Kristin) Frisch, Charles J (Marian) Bradburn, David Frisch, Margaret Frisch, Mark J. Bradburn, Michael T. (fiance Gretchen) Bradburn, Ben Burkel, Christopher (Tracy) Bradburn, Andrew Bradburn, Katherine Bradburn, Daniel Oates, and her three great-grandchildren: Kyle, Anna, and Ella as well as her sister-in-law Elizabeth Bradburn. After graduating from St. Mary's Academy, Pat earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Marquette University where she was a founding member of the Alpha Delta Zeta sorority and member of social-service sorority Zeta Phi Delta. While at Marquette she was a member of the Jesuit Honorary Society. Pat received her Master's degree from Central Michigan University in Healthcare Administration. She was a talented administrator at St. Alphonsus Hospital, later St. Mary's Hospital, in Port Washington where she became the Vice-President of Ancillary Services. Pat was certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathology and was elected to the American College of Hospital Administrators. Through her participation in the National Women's Health Initiative, Pat helped researchers develop new medical treatments focused on women's health. Pat was an active member of the Cedarburg Women's Club (president 1996-2000), St. Francis Borgia Women's Guild, Manitou Girl Scout Council, and Cedarburg Girl Scouts. Her most cherished roles were as wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and most important of all, child of God. She taught us all how to work, live, and love with enthusiasm. Pat will be missed greatly by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her honor may be made to St. Francis Borgia Women's Guild, Cedarburg Women's Club, Cedarburg Girl Scouts, Manitou Girl Scout Council, or Horizon Hospice. Visitation will be held at Mueller Funeral Home located at W63 N527 Hanover Ave. Cedarburg, WI 53012 on Monday, January 17, 2011 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. and also at St. Francis Borgia Church located at 1375 Covered Bridge Rd. Cedarburg, WI on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 from 9:00 until 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 18 at 10:00 a.m. Private burial service will be at St. Francis Borgia Cemetery Cemetery: St. Francis Borgia Cemetery Pioneer Rd.
