A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2009 7:00 PM at First Immanuel Lutheran Church, Cedarburg, for Norma E. Kison (nee Miller), of Cedarburg who went home to the Lord on May 10, 2009 at the age of 86 yrs. Visitation will at the church on Wed. from 4 -7 PM. Interment Immanuel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to First Immanuel Lutheran Guardian Angel Program or The Ozaukee Co. 4-H Foundation appreciated. Norma was born in the town of Jackson on January 9, 1923 the daughter of the late Carl and Adela (nee Wolfgram) Miller. Norma was united in marriage to the late Roland on May 8, 1943. Norma worked many hours on the family farm, selling eggs and growing vegetables for sale andcanning. She was a member of the Ladies Aid of First Immanuel Lutheran Church. Norma is survived by her children: Darwin (Judith) Kison, David (Mary) Kison, Barbara (Raymond) Schmidt, Edward (Connie) Kison and Susan (Mark) Pipkorn; grandchildren: Brenda (Jeff) Halverson, Colleen (Todd) Oestreich, Ryan (fianc Carlene) Kison, Vincent (Maggie) Kison, Kelli (Chris) Miller, Jill (Tim) Murphy, Daniel Schmidt, Peter Schmidt, Kyle (Kristine) Kison, Andrew Kison, Kendall (Adam) Melichar, Audra Kison, Matthew (fianc Katherine) Pipkorn, Nathan Pipkorn, Megan Pipkorn and Nicole Pipkorn; great grandchildren Jacqueline and Bradley Halverson; Logan and Braiden Oestreich; Coby, Ava and Trevin Kison; Hannah, Julia, Noah, and Sophia Miller; McKenzie Murphy; Sister Gertrude Mixdorf; sister-in-law Ethel Miller, Viola Kison, Lorain Kison; brother-in-law Elmer (Joyce) Kison. Preceded in death by 2 brothers: Oscar and Arnold; 1 sister Ada Gauger. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials to First Immanuel Lutheran Guardian Angel Program or The Ozaukee Co. 4-H Foundation appreciated.
