Norine V. Adams

Norine V. Adams (nee Sullivan) Age 87 of Shorewood, WI, formerly of Grafton. Born 2-21-24 in Chicago, IL, died 6-21-11 in Milwaukee. Beloved mother of John (Ellen) Adams of Port Washington, Carol (Robert) Clinkenbeard of Shorewood and Edward (Linda) Adams of Cumming, GA. Cherished grandmother of Amy (Tony) Lindeman, Jason Adams, Madelyne Adams, Sara (Jonathan) Laev-Wegman and Evan Clinkenbeard. Great-grandmother of Makenna and Aubrey Lindeman, and Dulcie and Damian Adams. Norine was preceded in death by her husband Laverne Jake Adams in 1961, her grandson Mathew Adams in 2008, and her brothers Frank, David and John Sullivan. Also survived by her beloved sister Helen (Harold) Brown of Huntley, IL, and her dear friend Rebecca McKeown of Shorewood. Norine will be greatly missed by her many friends, as well as her numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Though her Irish eyes are no longer smiling, she will be remembered for her tremendous wit, strength and courage. The world was a brighter place for having had Norine in it for 87 years. Breathe easy, Mom! Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday June 25 at St. Robert Parish (2214 E. Capitol Dr. Shorewood) at 11:00am with Visitation at the church from 9:30am until the time of Mass. A Blessing for Mom (old Irish prayer): With the first light of sun, Bless you.
