A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, December 4, 2008 7PM at Community United Methodist Church, Cedarburg, for Noel Kimball Jepson., Jr., who passed away November 28, 2008, at the age of 66 years. Visitation will be held Thursday at the church from 4PM until time of service. Interment Zur Ruhe Cemetery, Cedarburg. Memorials to the Greater Cedarburg Community Fund or Cedarburg Rescue Squad appreciated. Noel was born on August 2, 1942, in Michigan, to the late Noel Kimball, Sr. and the late Elizabeth (nee Butler) Jepson. He met Judy Krueger in Brillion, WI while working a summer job for the Ariens Co. when both were in college, and they were married December 16, 1967. While in college, Noel was honored to serve in the U.S. Army. He later attended UW-Milwaukee where he earned a Masters Degree in Business Administration. He and Judy moved to Cedarburg in 1976. Noel served on various City of Cedarburg boards and commissions, and he was involved in numerous activities and organizations including the Cedarburg Lions Club, Ozaukee County Jail Literacy Program, Ozaukee Chapter of the Great Lakes Sports Fishermen, and was also proud to serve as Cedarburgs Common Council Representative for the Third District. Noel is survived by Judy, his loving wife of nearly 41 years; children David Jepson of New York and Wendy (Christian Brannstrom) Jepson of Texas; grandchildren Nicolas and Andreas Brannstrom of Texas; brother Jan (Kathy) Jepson of Michigan; brother-in-law Rollo (Marcy) Krueger of Florida; sister-in-law Laurel (Lester) Nett of Appleton; stepsister Suzy (friend Lindley Kinerk) Jepson of New Hampshire; aunt and uncle Nathalie and Willard Tschantz of Brillion; cousins; nieces; nephews and many friends. He will be sadly missed by family, friends and the City of Cedarburg which he loved so dearly. The family would like to say a special thank you to the Cedarburg Police Department and the Cedarburg Rescue Squad for their prompt and caring service on Noels behalf.
