Dolly was born in Ramona, South Dakota on January 26, 1928 the daughter of the late Verge and Anna (nee Menzel) Keehn. On November 25, 1950, Dolly was united in marriage to Harold Teno Mueller. They had 58 wonderful years together. As a young girl she received her first pony from her father and never looked back. Her love for horses and all animals was evident through her entire life. She taught her three children how to ride and care for the horses, along with the many other children in 4-H where she was a Horse and Pony Project Leader for many years. Dolly was one of the Founders of the Ozaukee Co. 4-H Saddle Club and was a cornerstone in the building of the original horse barn, riding ring, announcers booth, and concession stand. On November 17, 1984 the flag pole by the horse barn was put up in honor of Dolly and Teno Mueller. She also enjoyed making clothing for all occasions, especially riding outfits for her children and many other kids. Dolly enjoyed many sports in her early years, mainly golfing after the horses were gone, and being the life of the party where ever there was one.
