In Loving Memory of Morris Cook: An Honorable Man

Morris A Cook passed away and was released into eternal life on 28 May 2023 at the age of 86.

Morris was a remarkable man who touched the lives of many with his integrity, compassion, and unwavering dedication to loved ones. People like him can serve as role models for others, encouraging them to cultivate similar virtues in their own lives.

Born on the 22nd of October of 1936, Morris grew up on a farm in Fountain City, WI. He learned the values of hard work, honesty, and humility with his four siblings from his loving parents. These principles shaped his character and guided him throughout his remarkable life.

Morris was a Marine Veteran that served from 1953-1957. Soon after Morris’ service, he had met Patricia on a blind double date for the first time in February of 1957. They met in an ice cream parlor and in that moment, the eyes of the two locked for a lifetime journey together. They had married, had two children, and built a life together for the next 65 years.

Professionally, Morris worked at the Continental Can Company in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for 38 years. In 1993, Morris made a decision to retire with his wife in Bella Vista Arkansas. After missing their family, they decided to move back to Wisconsin in 1997. Morris continued to work at Federal Tool until 2005 and continued to be a source of strength for his family.

Morris was a pillar and made an impact on those who stood by him, knew him, and loved him. His selflessness and genuine care for others was unparalleled.

Morris was a true leader, leading by example and inspired others to achieve their best. He was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

He cherished every moment spent with those he loved, creating lasting memories and instilling in them the same values that defined his own life.

Morris is survived by his wife, first and last kiss of 65 years, Patricia

His brother, Randy

Father of Daniel and Sherry

Grandfather of Crystal, Amber, Tia, Daniel, Frank, Tony, Leanne, and Alyssa.

Great Grandfather of Austin, Eric, Elise, Logan, and Kinsley.

Beloved Border Collies, Zoey and Sadie.

While his physical presence may be gone, his spirit will live on through the memories and the lives he touched.

Morris Cook's passing leaves a void in the lives of those who knew him, but his legacy of honor and kindness will forever shine as a beacon of inspiration. He will be dearly missed. Rest in peace, Morris Cook. Your memory will forever remain etched in our hearts.
