Mildred M. Trede

Mildred M. Trede of Grafton passed away peacefully on Tuesday March 1, 2016 at Seasons Hospice in Waukesha at the age of 93 years. Mildred was born in Nokomis, IL on February 28, 1923 to the late William and Meta (nee Oltmann) Swarbrick and married the late Rev. Dr. Eldred Trede on August 20, 1944 in Nokomis, IL. Mildred taught at Glen Crest Jr. High in Glen Ellyn, IL for 20 years. She was an accomplished Artist displaying her art in Sarasota, FL and the Grafton, Cedarburg area. She was a publisher of Language Arts text books for Jr. High students. She also was a member of Advent Lutheran Church in Cedarburg. She is survived by her children; Mark (Janice) Trede of Cedarburg, Donald (Susan) Trede of Hampshire, IL, Brian (Janice Hertz) Trede of Camano Island, WA & Susan (Michael) Malahy of Nashotah, WI, sister; Lillian Pinkston of Pekin, IL. She was preceded in death by her brother William. She is further survived by 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held on Thursday April 14, 5:30 PM at Advent Lutheran Church W63 N642 Washington Ave Cedarburg. Family will receive friends at the church from 3:30 – 5:15 PM. Memorials to the Advent Lutheran Church Scholarship Fund appreciated.
