Michael W. Viesselmann, of Cedarburg, went home to his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at the age of 64 years. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2014, 12 NOON at St. Paul Lutheran Church, in Grafton, with Rev. Kenton Wendorf officiating. The family will receive friends, on Saturday, at the church, from 10AM until the time of service. Memorials in Michael’s name can be sent to St. Paul Lutheran Church or School, in Grafton, or to the American Bladder Cancer Society. Michael was born on April 18, 1950, in Port Washington, the son of the late Wallace Viesselmann and the late Bernice (nee Ciriacks) Viesselmann. He graduated from Cedarburg High School and then attended the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business. Shortly thereafter, Michael was united in marriage to his high school sweetheart, Mari Lea Glick, on June 2, 1973. Their marriage was blessed with three children, Heather, Jessica, and Justin. Michael was a longtime active member at St. Paul Lutheran Church, serving on the School Board for many years. Michael is the beloved husband of Mari Lea (nee Glick) Viesselmann. Loving dad of Heather (David) Edge, Jessica (Alejandro) Martinez, and Justin Viesselmann. Proud grandpa of Sofia Martinez and soon to arrive, Baby Edge. Cherished brother of Mark (Carol) Viesselmann and Glenn (Tami) Viesselmann. Dear brother-in-law of Ronna (Werner) Wagner, Donnie Glick, and the late Jeannie (Marc) Eernisse. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
