Michael Thomas Roy,

Of Grafton, WI was born into eternal life after a long battle with addiction on January 23, 2024 at the age of 33.

Michael was born in Watertown, WI on December 22, 1990, to Todd and Barb Roy (nee Gerlach). He grew up in Grafton attending Our Savior, St. Paul’s Lutheran School, and Grafton High School.

Through the years, Michael enjoyed skateboarding, snowboarding, paintball, swimming, and family vacations. He held a light and joyful demeanor. Through Michael’s struggles, he brought his family closer to Jesus.

Michael is survived by his parents, Todd and Barb Roy, brother, Joel Roy, sister, Tanya (Cletus) Hoehn. He is further survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents, Tom and Lorraine Roy and Glenn and Doris Gerlach, cousin, Thomas G. Haeuser, Aunt Teri Mikulski, and uncle Tim Roy.

A special thank you to all the people in the community and others who have walked beside us in this journey. Along with the medical examiner of Ozaukee County, Mary Davis and Deputy Joseph Tracey for their care and compassion.

There will be a memorial service held for Michael at Open Door Bible Church (3420 County Highway LL Port Washington, WI 53074) on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at 12:00 PM. A visitation will take place at church from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM.
