Michael Philip Dellegrazio, of Grafton, died unexpectedly of a heart attack early July 8, 2013, at age 25. Michael was born on December 30, 1987 in Milwaukee to Phil and Cindy (Huglen) Dellegrazio and was raised in Grafton. He graduated from Grafton High School in 2006 and completed an Associate Degree in Engine Research Development at Moraine Park Technical College in 2009. Michael most recently lived on the East Side of Milwaukee and worked as an Engineering Lab Technician at Generac Power Systems in Waukesha. A creative spirit with a strong desire to give and to serve, Michael loved restoring and fixing cars and engines, woodworking, and gardening; a nurturing and caring soul, Michael enjoyed cooking for others and had a thriving vegetable and herb garden. Michael also loved his work at Generac, where he was a well-respected and resourceful employee; he had a passion for innovation and design, and he will be greatly missed. He was an avid traveler and enjoyed adventures with his family. He also enjoyed camping, hiking, and backpacking in Wisconsin with his friends. Michael was a loving and devoted son to Phil and Cindy Dellegrazio; a brother and best friend to Jennifer Dellegrazio; grandson of Morgan and Eleanor (Wrolstad) Huglen of Iola; and grandson of Phil and Vita (Lombardo) Dellegrazio, who preceded him in death. Michael is further survived by loving aunts and uncles, cousins, mentors, other relatives, and a great group of friends. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 14, 2013 from 12 p.m. until 3 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, N35 W6621 Wilson St., Cedarburg, with a Memorial Service beginning at 3 p.m. Mueller Funeral Home & Crematory in Cedarburg is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials to honor Michael and his love for life and nature be directed to Riveredge Nature Center in Newburg, Wisconsin. Michael’s family wishes to thank their families, friends, and communities, as well Michael’s loyal friends, for their overwhelming support during this difficult time.
