Michael J. Goelz

Michael J. Goelz from the town of Jackson passed away Monday, October 3, 2016 at the age of 64 years. Michael was born February 8, 1952 to Duane and Marion (nee Gonnering) Goelz. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Cheryl (nee Hansen). Further survived by siblings: Mari (John) Dickmann, Julie Dobberpuhl, and Mark (Deb) Goelz; Brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws: Lowell (Dawn Voigt) Hansen, Janice (David) Stueck; Father-in-law, Forrest (Virginia) Hansen. Step brothers and sisters; Mary (Rod) Kohlhepp, Kathe (Mike) Lee, Barbara (Daniel) Brylow, Thomas (JoBeth) Hercules, Robert (Renee) Hercules, and David Hercules. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews of which, he was proud to be called Uncle. Michael was preceded in death by his Father Duane, Mother Marion, Step Father Don Hercules, Mother-in-Law Elaine Hansen, and Brother-in-Law Blaine Dobberpuhl. Michael dedicated 32 years as a Heavy Duty Mechanic at Track Truck and Equipment Co, Inc. His life was spent enjoying hunting, fishing, trap shooting, and spending time with family and friends. He was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it without question. Many times he was the glue that kept everyone together. Michael always made us laugh and will forever be in our hearts. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 23rd at Mueller Funeral Home, 979 N Green Bay Rd Grafton, WI 53024. Family will receive guests from 12:00 Noon to 1:45 PM. Following will be a memorial service at 2:00 PM. Memorials of your choice appreciated.
